The (Second) Morning After / Truth Takes Time
I conquered Fuji-yama. Over Wednesday night and Thursday morning, I have been up to the top and back down again.
I arrived home yesterday at 2pm and, except for a brief dazed and confused walk to the shop for food, I have slept for a total of 14 hours. I feel like I've just woken from one of those induced comas you see in the movies.
I tried to stand up and fell over - my legs are in so much pain. I'm going to the newly refurbished gym soon, which has an aqua lounge, stretch room with those inflatable balls - much like a ball-pit for adults - and, most importantly, a massage chair room. And then I have to work.
Was Fuji a success? Was the weather as bad as it has been the rest of the season? Did I cry? Did I lose my soul?
All those answers about the night of the climb and the morning after of the descent will be answered very soon. Hence the title...

I'm learning how to use my digital camera so that I can take fantastic pictures of the Nile cruise and send them to you.
Well done Philip on climbing Mount Fuji. We are so proud of you and looking forward to reading all about it.
Fuji or not Fuji that is the question, so you won't do it again when we are over............we think you did great. It will be good just to get a good picture.
So work out the best place on our way to Hakon or Kyoto
