Takeshi's Castle? Never Heard Of It

I just found out that the fantastic Takeshi's Castle (gameshow in Japan, spoof around the World) was filmed about 20 minutes from where I live!! Very excited by that fact.

I didn't have the heart to tell the Students who loved the show that it was a piss-take back home; just acted innocent and said I'd never heard of it. You could see in their eyes how fond they were.

Doing some research online, I found out that although Craig Charles only tells of 4 winners, there were in fact 9 in total - each at the time winning one million Yen (£5,000)
