Every one has been very kind, and even when I went into the bank they burst into song [embarassing, but nice , as one of the girls there shares the same date], I hastened to remind them that in Monopoly when it's your birthday you collect money, funny how it's not the same in the real world. Come on Lottery. So tonight in our Succa we are are entertaining the family and tomorrow about 40 friends and then shortly we will do something with our London friends, so it's Party time... wheeee heee. Thanks to everyone who leaves birthday wishes -appreciated, love dad, Ps. we have the bake beans ready, anything else? Dad xxxx

Philip - Roz and I got back from Bournemouth last night after having a great weekend celebrating your dad's birthday. We had a lovely Friday night meal at Sterling Road and then a very pleasant time the following evening. Able to catch up with a number of people who we had not seen for some time. Funny how everyone looks older. Oliver and Daniel were great in helping - shame you weren't there. You were missed.
