The Day That Wasn't

Blue skies.

I had the picnic blanket and food all good to go for a trip to Tamagawa (Tama River) - the dividing line between Tokyo and Yokohama, and a spot for hanging out along the riverside.

However, as soon as we arrived, the heavens opened and we were forced to turn back.

And I hear Britain is record-breaking hot. Hmph.

It is absolutely sweltering here in France too. No rain to speak of for ages, although we were in Bournemouth for the weekend and apparently there was a huge thunderstorm here but with no rain. There was, in case you havent heard yet, an earthquake in Kent a few days ago. Global warming has a lot to answer for I think. According to the weather forecast I just watched on the Beeb it's going to continue being just as hot for the next week.

Get real - Come on do you really think Global Warming is a reality? or merley another myth dreamed up to mask the true problems of 3rd world poverty, rising terrorism and ww corruption- BAE, Saudi Arabian arms. The Earth goes through climatic cycles and this is just another one
