Null points

Anyone know the score, so to speak, from last night's contest? Any highs? Any lows?

Did we fly the flag? I guess not.

We didn't watch it either but Serbia won. Apparently the Palestinian territories have applied to be in it next year, so maybe Japan the year after that!
By the way, it's absolutely chucking it down here. The rain that you have been having has obviously drifted into Western Europe.

Bloc voting at its "best" is the way to describe the Eurovision this year...

All of the ex-Communist countries voted for each other in a big cosy love-in, but conversely the only reason we did as well as we did was because of Malta (kind of our only friend in Europe) giving our entry 12 points.

It was a 12 points that wasn't deserved. Despite Flying The Flag bing a good, cheesy, Eurovision-y tune, it was let down by our singers being slightly off key. Oh, and the fact that our army is still in Iraq...
