Okey-Bokey

Next time you want to say 'Okey-Dokey', change the 'D' to a 'B'.

In Japanese, it means 'Giant Erection'. It's funny saying it in lessons, acting all innocent and ignorant and watching the students' reactions.

Who said childish humour was childish.

Japan, unlucky, Italy very lucky.
Germany proficient. Argentina fortunate.

Tough on Australia, Mexico, and Ecuador.
Now worked out Svens magic formula:
BORE THEM TO DEATH and then score a wonder goal! Check the referee out slip him a few yen and let him send off all the future oposition....come on England we know you can throw it away!

you would think sign language would be universal but every country has its own variations.

as for signs and gestures, they're very different here. i'll do a whole entry on it, but just for interest, 'ticking' homework means it's bad.

Yes, and if you "tick someone off" here that is also bad. Language is very interesting isn't it? Very confusing if you are trying to learn it I should think.
